Tainted Cain received an adjustment to match the base starting stats of regular Cain, granting him increased damage at the cost of reduced range. More importantly, salvaging his active item no longer generates special drops when broken down inside special rooms like Secret Rooms, putting an end to easy, infinite item-generation loops.
